Artist John Hill will present and discuss work Thursday, February 21 at 11am in Rutledge 119. Hill holds a MFA from UNC Chapel Hill and a BFA from Winthrop (class of 2003). Hill is currently featured in By Way of the South curated by Justin Van Hoy for the Guerrero Gallery in San Francisco.
Hill teaches at Central Piedmont Community College in Charlotte and Gaston college in Dallas, NC. His fantasy-like drawings read as highly unlikely visual narratives with sexually charged overtones.
