SCAEA Awards to Winthrop Students…Congrats!

The South Carolina Art Education Association (SCAEA) Staff Development Conference was held October 25-27 in Myrtle Beach.

At the SCAEA Awards Event Friday evening,

Freshman in the Department of Fine Arts BFA-MAT5 major Sarah Rubinstien was awarded the SCAEA Scholarship.

Laura Zellmer, Award Recipient

Department of Fine Arts BFA grad and current MAT5 student Laura Zellmer received the Liz Smith-Cox Scholarship. 

Department of Fine Arts alums, Toni Davis of Summerville High School was named the SCAEA Promising Young Professional and Angel Harris was honored with the SCAEA Youth Art Month Award.
