The Art of Thinking: Fine Arts Alumni Presentations

Standard

As part of its Fine Arts Education Initiative: Critical Thinking, Technology and Innovation, the Department of Fine Arts has organized and scheduled a fall 2013 series of lectures titled The Art of Thinking: Fine Arts Alumni Presentations.   Intended to continue through spring 2014, the presentations bring many of the department’s exceptional alumni back to campus in order to share their professional experiences with current students and faculty.  “An ability to think critically and creatively is a key ingredient that provides our students and alumni with the skills to succeed after graduation. This series is intended to reinforce this foundational component inherent in a fine arts/liberal arts education,” notes fine arts chair Tom Stanley
