Dear Fine Arts Students,
There has been some confusion regarding the policy on summer access. I hope that the information below will help clarify any questions.
In the past, we realize that students were occasionally provided summer studio access. I regret to inform you that this practice is coming to an end in compliance with university policy.
To use the studios in the summer, a student must be a non-degree or degree seeking student enrolled in a supervised studio class associated with the studio(s) being used. Use is limited to a course’s beginning and end dates. For example:
Summer A: 05/19 – 0/06
Summer B: 06/09 – 08/08
Summer C: 06/09 – 07/07
Summer D: 07/14 – 08/13
For students enrolled in a supervised studio class, all studio rules continue to apply during the summer as noted in the Fine Arts Health and Safety Manual.
Being registered for classes in the fall does not provide summer access.
Being registered for classes other than appropriate studio classes does not provide summer access.
