Todd earned a B.F.A. from Winthrop in 2006. Immediately following graduation Stewart was awarded a commission to design and fabricate a fountain for the Winthrop campus in front of Kindard. He taught several 3D design courses at Winthrop and managed the metal studio for a year. He then went on to be a studio assistant for several artists while working other jobs and maintaining his own studio practice. He earned a M.F.A. from Clemson and is now the Program Director of Public Art for the Arts & Science Council in Charlotte, NC. Outside of his full-time job, he fabricates custom steel furniture, lighting, and architectural features for a number of architects, contractors, and private clients. He continues to create and exhibit art.
